Nikkah: a dignified path to marriage

Built on trust

Private by design

Profiles can only be seen by approved members who are logged in. Surnames, contact numbers and addresses stay private until a match, and you decide who sees your photographs.

Verified and moderated

Every profile is checked by a moderator before it appears. Identity documents and verification photos are encrypted and never shown to members.

Family welcome

Register yourself, or let a parent, wali, sibling or trusted matchmaker manage your profile with your permission. Members can always see who manages a profile.

Three ways to join

Applicant

You’re looking for a spouse and manage your own profile.

Family representative

You’re a parent, wali, sibling or other relative creating a profile for someone, with their permission.

Matchmaker

You help several people find a spouse. Matchmaker accounts are approved by our team before profiles can be submitted.

How an introduction works

  1. Create a profile. Answer the questions at your own pace, save drafts, and choose what members can see.
  2. Verification and approval. Upload an ID document and verification photos (kept private). A moderator reviews the profile.
  3. Browse respectfully. Approved members can search and filter, shortlist profiles and mark ones that aren’t suitable.
  4. Request an introduction. The other side can accept, decline, or ask for more information first.
  5. Take the next step. Once an introduction is accepted, both sides see each other’s contact details.

Free, for the sake of Allah

Nikkah is free to register, browse and use. There are no paid memberships, boosts or paid requests. Voluntary contributions towards running costs are welcome, but never expected.
